Silver Maple Acer saccharinum           Hardiness: Zone 3 - 9 The Silver Maple grows 50 - 70' in height; spread is usually about 2/3 the height. Leaves are bright to medium green above, gray or silver beneath in summer. Fall color is usually a green - yellow - brown combination.  This is the fastest growing American maple species.
