Hardiness: Zone 6 - 10 This clumping, evergreen perennial has grass - like, shining, dark green leaves and bears erect spikes of rounded, bell - shaped, violet flowers in late summer.  It grows 12 - 24" tall with a spread of 18" with flower spikes held just above the foliage.
